Biei Station
Completed in 1952, Biei Station is made of stones from Biei and very popular to visitors. It was partially renovated in 1988 and serves well as the gateway to Biei.
비에이역
1952년에 준공된 비에이 역사는 비에이난석을 사용한 석조건물로 건축되어, 비에이 관광 명소의 하나입니다. 또한 국철 분할 민영화와 함께 1988년에 일부 개조되어, 비에이쵸의 관문에 어울리는 역사가 되었습니다.
The main street of Biei
As per the local construction agreement during land readjustment project started in 1989, the houses in the main street used soft stone from Biei at the lower part in the front of the houses to create unique 'Village of hills' look of Biei. The houses are in unified form and the electric wires are buried under the ground which gives even more beautiful view of the street. Service house “Biei Hill Warehouse” and gallery “bi.yell” are located along the street and receive many visitors.
비에이의 거리
1989년부터 착공된 혼도오리 토지구획 정리사업에서는 지역의 건축협정에 따라 건물 정면의 아랫부분에 비에이 연석이 사용되어, “언덕의 마을” 비에이의 특색 있는 거리를 만들어 냈습니다. 도로변의 집은 디자인을 통일 하고, 또한 전주를 땅속으로 넣어버림으로써, 보다 아름다운 거리가 될 수 있도록 하고 있습니다. 돌로 만들어진 휴게소 “비에이 언덕의 창고”나 갤러리 “비옐 (비에루)” 등이 인기 있는 방문장소 입니다.
Blue Pond
To prevent the secondary damage from Tokachidake volcanic eruption, several banks were built at the main stream of Biei river. The water flowed into and trapped inside of one of the banks and became a pond. When the water from Iouzawa River and Biei River meet, it turns to blue color. The water of Blue Pond is even bluer as it's mainly from Biei River. Dead and dried dahurian larch trees standing in the water create mystically atmosphere scenery. In the winter time, you can enjoy beautiful light illumination at Blue Pond and White Beard waterfall.
청의 호수
토카치다케의 화산 피해를 막기 위해, 비에이강 본류에 여러 개 건설된 둑 중 하나에 물이 고여서 생긴 인조 연못 입니다.
흰수염 폭포 위쪽부근에서 흘러내리는 이오우자와강과 비에이강의 물이 합쳐지면 파란색으로 변합니다.
파란 연못은 그중 비에이강의 물이 고인 것으로, 특히나 더 파랗게 보입니다.
우뚝선 마른 일본잎갈나무 숲이, 보다 환상적인 분위기를 냅니다.
흰수염 폭포와 함께 겨울철에는 라이트 일루미네이션도 즐길 수 있습니다.
Shirahige (white beard) waterfall
A famous 30 meter waterfall in Shirogane onsen village. Infiltrated water from Tokachidake flows through the gaps of rocks and becomes submerged waterfall into Biei River. It doesn't freeze even in the winter time and visitors can enjoy this beautiful waterfall. Together with Blue Pond, Shirahige waterfall is also lighted on winter nights.
시라히게 폭포
백금온천마을의 관광명소인 시라히게 폭포는, 낙차가 30미터 정도 입니다.
토카치다케 연봉 의 복류수가 바위 사이에서 힘차게 비에이강으로 흘러 떨어지는 잠흐름 폭포라고 하는 희귀한 폭포입니다. 샘물이므로 엄동기에도 얼지 않고 겨울에도 아름답게 떨어지는 폭포를 볼 수 있습니다. 또한 푸른 연못과 함께 겨울한정으로 야간 일루미네이션을 즐길 수 있습니다.

Tokachidake Observatory BOUGAKUDAI
In the middle of Tokachidake and north of Shirogane Onsen is the observatory BOUGAKUDAI. This observatory is at sea level 930m and located right below Tokachidake peak of Daisetsuzan National Park and you can have a very close view of Asahi hill, Biei hill, Bieifuji, Kamifurano hill and also 360 dgree panoramic views of Ahahikawa city and Furano city. This place serves as important basecamp for summer hikers. Tokachidake Observatory shelter is completed in October 2016.
토카치다케 전망대
시로가네 온천의 위쪽, 토카치다케 중턱에 있는 전망대는 “망악대”라고 불립니다.
해발 930m로 다이세츠산 국립공원 토카치다케 봉우리의 바로 아래 있는 이 전망대는, 다이세츠산의 주요 봉우리인 아사히 언덕을 시작으로 비에이언덕, 비에이후지, 카미후라노 언덕 등이 손에 잡힐 듯 보이고, 눈아래로 아사히카와시에서 후라노시까지의 경관을 360도 즐길 수 있습니다.
특히나 여름에는 토카치다케 주변의 중요한 등산 베이스캠프가 되고 있습니다.
토카치다케 전망대 대피소는 2016년 10월에 완성되었습니다.
